What is ebdex?
I am constantly attempting to simplify our message. What do you think about the following? Can you improve this?
ebdex is an innovative organisation that helps CEOs, MDs and FDs of small and large companies improve their profitability and cash flow by leveraging existing investments in technology.

Sorry I missed you the other day. I’ll email you separetely when I find some dates where we can meet up.
In answer to your post though, to be absolutely critical:
“innovative organsiation” - what makes you innovative? What are you doing that no-one else is?
“CEO, MDs andFDs” - your solution doesnt help anyone else? Accountant, admin staff, receptionist who may key in invoices as part of their job?
“small and large compaines” - so all compaines. And what about charities, partnerships, sole traders?
“improve their profitability and cash flow” - is this the only goal of companies? Does your solution genuinely do this, or does it just make life a bit easier for people?
“leveraging” - ugh! sorry, hate this word!
Unfortunately, you could replace ebdex with any IT company name and it would be as equally true or not.
Your statement from the ebdex website is much better:
“ebdex provides an innovative, secure, scalable, managed and hosted Business-to-Business (B2B) electronic document exchange that increases the operational efficiency and competitiveness of our clients.”
Now that’s an elevator story!
Of course marketing is one of those things that appeals differently to different people so there will be lots of people out there who disagree with me.

John, thanks for above feed back. I have been scratching my head trying to come up with a simpler message and you took me right back to where we started from. Looks like there is no problem with the message then!
Will remove the word innovation. We bring commercial innovation, especially bringing solutions that are available to large companies to SMEs. This is where we really wants to make a difference.
However, to kick start the ball rolling, we need few large clients. Are you going to Softworld or BASDA events this week and the next by any chance?
